Reputable Believers of the UFO Phenomenon

Not all UFO believers are nutjobs claiming to have been abducted by aliens. Some of the worlds most respected politicians, religious figures, astronauts and academics have stated on numerous occasions that they have “inside information.”

President Jimmy Carter

It certainly goes without saying that you don’t become the president of America if you’re a complete wacko (with the exception of George W. Bush). In October 1969, President Jimmy Carter observed a moon-sized UFO in the sky for at least 10 minutes. During his presidential campaign he claimed that he would institute a policy of openness if he were elected; however, his promises were never kept. When he came to office in 1977 he went back on his word citing “defense implications” has his reason. “I am convinced that UFOs exist because I have seen one.” – President Jimmy Carter

Monsignor Corrado Balducci

The religious world is usually the first to discredit the existence of UFOs. That said, world renowned theologian, advisor to the pope and member of the Vatican Curia, Monsignor Corrado Balducci proclaims that extraterrestrial contact is real and ongoing. He even revealed on Italian television that the Vatican has been following the UFO phenomenon quietly for many years. “They are not demonic, they are not due to psychological impairment, they are not a case of entity attachment, but these encounters deserve to be studied carefully.” – Monsignor Corrado Balducci

Air Chief Marshal Lord Dowding

Second World War RAF fighter commander Lord Dowding is considered one of the masterminds behind Great Britain’s victory in world war two. As one of the most respected men in Britain it’s hard to shun his opinions on UFOs. In 1954 he stated that there had been over 10,000 reported sightings of foo fighters (UFOs) by RAF pilots during the 1940’s. “I am convinced that these objects do exist and that they are not manufactured by any nation on Earth.” – Air Chief Marshal Lord Dowding

Professor Stephen Hawking

Cambridge University physicist Professor Stephen Hawking is considered one of the most intelligent men on Earth. He has stated many times in lectures and through his writings that the mathematical probability of aliens pretty much guarantees that we are not alone; however, it’s his opinions on whether they have visited our planet that truly astound. “Of course it is possible that UFO’s really do contain aliens as many people believe, and the government is hushing it up” – Professor Stephen Hawking

Buzz Aldrin

There is nobody more reputable than the second man on the moon, astronaut Buzz Aldrin. While Neil Armstrong remained fairly tight lipped about his extraterrestrial experience throughout his life, Aldrin had no shame going on record stating that there was more to the Apollo 11 mission than meets the eye. “There was something out there, close enough to be observed, and what could it be? Now, obviously the three of us weren’t going to blurt out.” – Buzz Aldrin
